• Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and service address.
• Vehicle details — make, model and vehicle size, so we can quote and prepare correctly.
• Booking details — the package chosen, date, time, reference number and booking status.
• Payment information — we take deposits through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our systems; we only keep a payment reference and amount.
• Technical data — basic information such as your device type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

• To perform our contract with you — arranging, delivering and amending your valet, taking deposits and issuing confirmations.
• Legitimate interests — running and securing the website, preventing fraud, keeping business records and responding to enquiries.
• Legal obligation — keeping tax and accounting records for the periods required by law.
• Consent — where we send optional marketing messages. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under contract and only for that purpose:

• Stripe — payment processing for deposits.
• Our hosting and database provider — secure storage of booking records.
• Our email provider — sending booking confirmations and reminders.
• Professional advisers or authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.

Booking and customer records are kept for up to 6 years after your last booking to meet accounting and legal requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Ask us to erase your data where there is no ongoing legal or contractual reason to keep it.
• Restrict or object to how we use your data.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email bookings@ggvaleting.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Access to booking data is restricted to authorised staff accounts and protected by authentication and database access rules. Some of our providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved contractual clauses are in place.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
